Brady Akman is a Director of Business Development on the Healthcare team, having joined WCAS in 2021. Brady leads business development efforts by working directly with investment professionals across care delivery, healthcare technology, payor services and the pharma value chain to help identify new investment opportunities. Brady helps manage and facilitate WCAS relationships with strategics, bankers and other members of the healthcare ecosystem. Prior to joining WCAS, Brady worked at Quartet Health. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker in Morgan Stanley’s healthcare group, an equity research associate on Morgan Stanley’s healthcare services team and co-founder of the Morning Brew.
In the community, Brady teaches English as a Second Language and volunteers with the Breaking Ground, an organization focused on ending chronic homelessness in New York City. He lives in New York City. When he isn’t working, Brady enjoys spending summers at the beach with his family, cooking, listening to podcasts and doing anything related to Philadelphia sports.
