Mia joined WCAS in 2022 as a Talent Partner within the Healthcare team and also serves as Co-Head of Diversity and Inclusion. Her role primarily involves contributing to executive talent strategies and management to support WCAS’s healthcare companies in assembling effective leadership teams. Having worked in executive search for nearly a decade, Mia has had the opportunity to connect many talented individuals with leading healthcare organizations. This phase of her career began at Oxeon, a respected executive search and investment firm. Here, she collaborated closely with innovative healthcare organizations, boards, and investors to help assemble well-rounded and diverse leadership teams. Prior to her work in executive search, Mia had roles in the commercial sectors of the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries, with companies such as Merck, Guidant, and Boston Scientific. She pursued her educational goals at Villanova, earning a B.S in Communications and Business, and later received an M.B.A. from Columbia and London Business Schools.
In addition to her work, Mia has a passion for promoting equality and she co-founded the non-profit organization “Break into the Boardroom” to encourage gender balance in privately held healthcare Boards. She is also a Board member of The Moth, a non-profit committed to storytelling as an art form, and previously served on the board of the New York Academy of Medicine, a leading voice for innovation in public health.
Mia resides in New York City with her husband and two children, where they enjoy a range of activities including sports, performing arts and traveling.
