As trusted external consultants, the WCAS Board of Advisors is appointed to share current knowledge and provide guidance based on their industry expertise to help make decisions that align with the firm’s strategy and goals. The members of the Board of Advisors currently serve in the same capacity for all WCAS Partnerships.
Michael D. DiLecce
Michael D. DiLecce retired as a Partner at the accounting firm of Ernst & Young in June 2022. Mike has nearly 40 years of experience advising C-suite executives and board members on complex issues and challenges in the audit, financial reporting, regulatory and operational aspects of the asset management industry. Since October 2022, Mike has served as an Advisory Board Member for mutual funds advised by BNY Mellon and maintains deep experience in the private equity and hedge fund industries. In addition, Mike has established a reputation as a strategic operating executive and innovative leader, having ultimately served as the Ernst & Young (“EY”) Global Assurance Leader for the Wealth & Asset Management Sector until his retirement as an EY Partner. He was also a member of the EY Americas Financial Services Executive Leadership Team.
David F. Bellet
Mr. Bellet is the retired Chairman of Crown Advisors International Ltd., a private investment management firm that he founded in 1981. The firm managed funds for a worldwide group of individual and institutional clients through the Crown family of investment partnerships that invested in a mix of private and public emerging growth companies. He pioneered the institutional use of alternative investments in 1975 while working as an investment office of Citibank. He is currently an advisor to several domestic and international private equity and venture capital firms. Mr. Bellet is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Kedrick D. Adkins, Jr.
Kedrick Adkins has been CFO of the Mayo Clinic, an $11-billion-a-year operation, since 2014. Prior to joining the Mayo Clinic, Mr. Adkins served as the President of Integrated Services at Trinity Health. Before to his corporate and executive roles, he spent 30 years at Accenture, where he held roles as global managing partner for the healthcare practice, global chief diversity office and country managing director of U.S. Operations. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting and a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and in addition to having skills in operations, Mr. Adkins is recognized as an innovator, strategist and healthcare technology leader.
