Gene currently also serves as Chairman Emeritus, Co-Founder and a General Partner of MissionOG, a financial services and technology solutions growth investment firm. Previously, he was CEO and President of Mastercard International, where he led transformative growth and modernization of global payments infrastructure. He also served as President of the Global Retail Bank at Bank of America and as CEO of Midland Bank PLC. Earlier in his career, Gene held senior executive roles including President of Consumer Services at AT&T.
Over the years, Gene has contributed to the boards of more than two dozen companies, including Huron Consulting, Cognizant, IMS Health, NetSpend, NuBank, Alkami Technology, Argus Information, FeatureSpace, Thredd, and CLIP. His combined operating and board experience gives him a valuable perspective on scaling businesses, driving innovation, and enhancing customer and stakeholder outcomes.
