Jenny Guyton is an Operating Partner on the Healthcare team, having joined WCAS in 2021. Jenny also serves as a Managing Director of Health System Investments at The Health Management Academy, an affiliate of WCAS. She focuses on building partnerships with leading health systems and other industry members around WCAS investments, including co-investment syndicates, joint ventures and other strategic partnerships. The Health Management Academy is a strategic partner of WCAS that provides research, growth support services, knowledge sharing and leadership development to health systems and healthcare companies. Prior to joining WCAS, Jenny was a strategic investor in healthcare, investing on behalf of health systems, health insurance providers and the companies that serve them. She worked as an investor at Health Velocity Capital, in M&A and new product development at The Advisory Board Company, and in the investment banking division of Raymond James. Jenny received a B.S. in Ethics, Politics and Economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she was a Howard E. Mitchell Fellow and member of the Health Care Management Program.
In the community, Jenny is a passionate supporter of various initiatives supporting women and other underrepresented groups in business and a supporter of various healthcare organizations near and dear to the hearts of Jenny and her family. She is also an active member of the Wharton Health Care Management Alumni Association. Jenny lives with her husband and young family in San Francisco.
