Joe Gianono is the Tax Manager in the Finance & Operations Group at WCAS. Having joined the firm in 2023, he leads all tax-related matters for WCAS and specializes in managing complex tax issues affecting private equity funds. Prior to WCAS Joe was a Senior Vice President at Bessemer Trust, overseeing tax reporting for funds of funds invested in private equity, real estate and hedge funds. He also held senior tax positions at EY and PwC, providing tax compliance and tax consulting services to clients in the private equity, banking and capital markets sector. Having a diverse skillset of both public accounting and industry experience enables Joe to optimize tax operations, reporting and planning within the ever-changing tax landscape.
Joe lives with his wife Megan and their two children, Cameron and Joseph, in Madison, New Jersey. When he’s not chasing his kids around or reading up on the latest tax law changes, you can find Joe on the golf course, working out or tackling a DIY project.
