Bill is a four-time CISO with extensive private equity experience, specializing in building and maturing cybersecurity programs. Prior to joining WCAS, he was the CISO at Emburse, a $350M FinTech, where he established the security program and led certifications for SOC 1, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS. He also conducts cybersecurity due diligence for acquisitions. Previously, Bill was the first CISO at ZoomInfo, guiding the company through a successful IPO in 2020. He has also led security efforts at Eze Software, playing a key role in the company’s successful exit to SS&C. A recognized industry thought leader, Bill frequently speaks at conferences and leads roundtables. His data-driven, KPI-focused approach has helped reduce risk and enhance board reporting while maintaining a clean security record with no PII reports, ransomware incidents or regulatory fines.
