Mike Donovan is serving as a General Partner and a member of WCAS’s Management Committee. Over his 25 year career of investing, Mike has been primarily focused on the software and tech-enabled services industries, nurturing relationships with management teams and founders to collaboratively drive the growth and success of market-leading technology companies.
Mike joined WCAS in 2001 and has invested in numerous companies across a broad range of sectors, including telematics, low-code development, federal IT, healthcare IT, supply chain management, and cyber security. He serves on the Boards of Directors of Absorb LMS, Equilend, GovCIO, Quickbase and TrueCommerce. Mr. Donovan’s former board representation includes WCAS investments in Alert Logic, Intoxalock, Lytx, Matrix Medical Network, MedAssets, Simeio Solutions and Valor Communications. Before joining WCAS in 2001, he worked at Windward Capital and in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch.
Beyond his professional commitments, Mike is a dedicated supporter of Our House, Inc., an organization that provides services to and champions the cause of adults with developmental disabilities. Living with his wife and three children, Mike enjoys a balance between work and passions like golf, watching college basketball and cherished moments with his family.
